Job summary

HarborChase in Wilmington, DE seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide residents' daily living assistance with dignity and respect, following LOC guidance and facility policies.

You will support residents with ADLs, respond to calls, assist with meals, escort residents to dining, maintain room and dining area cleanliness, and collaborate with the team to ensure safety and high quality of life for all residents.

Qualifications

• High school education required; CNA certification preferred.
• 1–3 years experience in a senior care setting preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, associates, residents and families.
• Understanding of dementia and Alzheimer’s behavior helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and assistance to residents according to policies and rights.
• Assist residents with physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
• Respond to resident calls promptly and assist with ADLs.
• Escort residents to meals and dining rooms; assist with meals as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and dining areas; assist with personal laundry as directed.
