Commonwealth Senior Living in Radford, VA seeks a dedicated Resident Care Associate (RCA) to support seniors in Assisted Living and Memory Care. The role emphasizes compassionate daily tasks, adherence to care plans, and maintaining residents’ dignity and quality of life.

The RCA will document care, collaborate with the Resident Care Director, and participate in safety and infection control procedures. Walk-In-Wednesday events highlight opportunities with department representatives.

Qualifications

• Direct-Care, PCA, or CNA certification required.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Upholds resident confidentiality.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, to ensure resident care.

Responsibilities

• Directly assist residents with daily tasks and communicate changes to the Resident Care Director.
• Aid residents with mobility using proper techniques and equipment.
• Conduct routine care rounds per individualized care plans.
• Assist with lifts, moves, and transport using safe body mechanics.
• Document daily care activities per policy and regulatory standards.
• Respond promptly to inquiries from residents, families, and staff.
