Commonwealth Senior Living in Radford, VA is seeking a dedicated Resident Care Associate (RCA) to support seniors in Assisted Living and Memory Care. You will assist residents with daily activities, document care provided, and help maintain each resident’s dignity and quality of life.

You will work in a compassionate, patient-centered environment, coordinating with the Resident Care Director and care team. A caring presence and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Direct-Care, PCA, or CNA certification is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain, is required.
• Ability to maintain resident confidentiality and provide patient-centered care.

Responsabilités

• Directly assist residents with daily tasks and communicate care changes to the Resident Care Director.
• Aid residents with mobility using proper techniques and equipment.
• Perform rounds to ensure needs are met per individualized care plans.
• Assist with lifts, moves, and transport with proper body mechanics.
• Maintain residents' skin integrity and perform incontinence care as needed.
• Document daily care activities according to policy and regulatory standards.
• Report issues promptly to supervisors and respond to inquiries from residents and staff.
• Familiarize with care plans and contribute insights to planning.
• Provide emotional and psychosocial support to residents and families.
