Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking Care Partners to provide compassionate, personalized direct care to residents in our communities. You will assist with activities of daily living, promote safety and dignity, and work within a supportive team to enhance residents' well-being.

Responsibilities include helping with daily tasks, encouraging engagement in life enrichment programs, and communicating with residents, families, and staff to ensure a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current caregiver training/certification per state requirements, such as CNA/GNA/PCA/DCA, or willingness to obtain.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring.
• Provide compassionate care, emotional support, and companionship to residents.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activities and maintain open communication with residents, families, and staff.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as making beds and tidying rooms.
• Promote safety, privacy, and dignity in all interactions.
