Job summary

CARE PARTNERS in Oregon is seeking compassionate caregivers to support seniors with daily living activities, health monitoring, and emotional wellbeing. You will assist with bathing, dressing, meals, mobility, and mobility aids, while documenting health changes for the Wellness Team.

You will engage residents in social and recreational activities and communicate with families and staff to ensure a heartful, safe living environment.

Responsibilities

• You will provide personal care: assist elders with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, possibly with walkers and wheelchairs.
• You will provide health monitoring and documentation: observe, document, and report changes in the elder’s health or behavior to the Wellness Team.
• You will give emotional support: may support elders dealing with loneliness, anxiety, or other emotional challenges. Engaging in conversation, active listening, and offering companionship is part of your role.
• You will assist with Meals: help elders with meals and possibly feed elders who require additional support.
• You will engage in social and recreational activities: supporting elders in life-enriching activities for their well-being.
• You will connect: Communicate with elders, their families, other team members, and guests.
• You will keep things clean: may involve light housekeeping, such as tidying up and ensuring general cleanliness.
