Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Oregon seeks a Care Partner to provide compassionate, personalized direct care to residents, aiding with daily activities and ensuring comfort, safety, and well-being within a supportive team.

You will help residents maintain independence, privacy, and dignity, participate in life enrichment activities, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality resident care. Weekend rotation is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current caregiver training/certification per state requirements (CNA/GNA/PCA/DCA) or willingness to obtain.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain must be available.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring).
• Prioritize independence and emotional support through compassionate care and companionship.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks (making beds, tidying rooms).
• Promote open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
