Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Oregon is seeking a dedicated Care Partner to provide compassionate, personalized direct care to residents, supporting daily living activities and promoting safety, dignity, and independence.

You will work in a team to deliver high-quality care, engage residents in activities, assist with ADLs, light housekeeping, and communicate openly with families and healthcare staff. Weekend rotation is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current caregiver training/certification per state requirements (CNA/GNA/PCA/DCA) or the willingness/ability to obtain.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring) per safety guidelines.
• Provide compassionate care, emotional support, and encourage participation in life enrichment activities.
• Promote independence while maintaining privacy and dignity; communicate with residents, families and healthcare staff.
• Assist with light housekeeping (making beds, tidying rooms) as needed.
• Support teamwork and open communication among healthcare professionals and families.
