Job summary

Evergreen Retirement Community seeks caring, experienced caregivers to assist residents with activities of daily living in a supportive senior living setting. Responsibilities include helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility, while following schedules and documenting care.

You will provide emotional support, maintain confidentiality, and report concerns to supervisors. Requirements include at least 1 year in senior care, English proficiency, and a CNA/CHHA license depending on

Qualifications

• Experience in senior care (minimum of 1 year)
• English proficiency sufficient for duties and emergencies
• CNA or CHHA license may be required by state
• Basic computer skills
• Compassionate, professional, kind and empathetic
• Able to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently
• Ability to make independent decisions when needed
• Ability to solve practical problems in high-stress situations
• Maintain a positive, friendly demeanor with residents and coworkers

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service) as needed
• Follow resident needs as set by supervisor
• Provide emotional and social support to residents
• Document daily log of assistance
• Inform supervisor of resident issues or concerns
• Respect residents' independence, dignity, and confidentiality
