Job summary

Senior Lifestyle is seeking compassionate caregivers to assist residents in the Assisted Living Program with daily living activities, including medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, and escort services. You will follow supervisor schedules, provide emotional support, document logs, and report issues, while upholding residents' independence and dignity and maintaining confidentiality.

A minimum of one year in senior care is required; English proficiency and basic computer skills are

Qualifications

• You have at least one year of experience working in senior care.
• You have acceptable proficiency in English to perform duties and communicate in emergencies.
• You may need a CNA or CHHA license depending on the state.
• You have basic computer skills.
• You are compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic and helpful.
• You can work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely.
• You can make independent decisions when needed and solve practical problems.
• You maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward residents and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
• Follow the schedule of resident needs set out by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily log of assistance.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.
• Respect residents’ confidentiality.
