Job summary

Senior Lifestyle is seeking caregivers to assist residents in an Assisted Living Program with daily activities, including reminders for medications and help with bathing, grooming and dressing. You will follow supervisor schedules and provide emotional support while maintaining residents' dignity.

Applicants should have at least one year in senior care, strong English proficiency, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• You have at least one year of experience working in senior care.
• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties and emergencies.
• CNA or CHHA license may be required depending on state.
• Basic computer skills are expected.
• Compassionate, professional, kind, engaging and helpful.
• Ability to work as part of a team and multitask safely.
• Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
• Ability to solve practical problems under stress.
• Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward residents and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service and other daily living activities.
• Follow the schedule of residents' needs set by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily log of assistance.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage independence and dignity of residents.
• Respect residents’ confidentiality.
