Job summary

Provision Living Associates, LLC seeks a dedicated Resident Assistant to support residents with daily living activities and promote independence and dignity. You will assist with ADLs, dining, mobility, and overall well-being under the Director of Nursing.

A caring, patient approach and good communication with residents, families and staff are essential. Validated by adherence to safety and privacy rules, you will help maintain a welcoming environment for elders, coordinating with the care team

Qualifications

• CNA and First Aid certifications are preferred.
• 0-2 years of previous work experience.
• Clearly communicate with residents, employees, resident families and visitors.
• Read and interpret general directives.
• Effectively respond to questions from employees, managers, clients, customers and public.
• Organize work among fellow employees to ensure that all work is complete.
• Read proper dosage measure amounts.
• Identify problems and use problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Maintain and promote a good working relationship with staff, families and residents is essential.
• Exhibit and promote a high level of customer service and hospitality towards and among all residents, employees, visitors and the community

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Escort residents to dining room and events as needed.
• Respond to Emergency Call System promptly.
• Report deviations or changes to Management.
• Deliver meal trays to residents' apartments on request.
• Assist with housekeeping and laundry duties.
• Assist with meal service and dining room duties.
• Cross-train and assist in other areas as needed.
• Other duties may be assigned.
