Job summary

Montgomery Place in Chicago, IL, is seeking an experienced Assisted Living Aide to support residents with daily living activities and social programs. You will help with bathing, dressing, meals, mobility, and continence while promoting independence and resident choice.

The role includes documenting needs, coordinating with care teams, and assisting dining and activity planning. Strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work holidays/weekends are

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
Ability to work some holidays and weekends.
First Aid and CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, dining, grooming, mobility, continence).
Promote independence and resident choice in daily tasks.
Assist in planning the daily schedule of care on the unit.
Document resident needs on 24-hour report and other communications.
Notify the Program Director of significant changes in status.
Assist in cleaning and organizing the resident’s apartment; collaborate with housekeeping.
Prepare and serve food in the dining room; maintain kitchen and dining room cleanliness.
Assist with dining pantry inventory with the dining department.
Plan social activity programs and encourage participation.
Escalate issues to maintain quality standards; comply with HIPAA and safety rules.
