Chicago Methodist Senior Service (CMSS) seeks a Program Assistant for the Adult Day Services program. You will create a welcoming environment, plan activities, and assist with daily living tasks to support participants with diverse abilities.

The role involves one-to-one engagement, mobility support, mealtime assistance, and adherence to safety procedures while promoting social interaction and cognitive engagement.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with older adults or disabilities preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and with compassion.

Mansioni

• Plan, lead and assist with group and individual activities to promote social engagement and cognitive stimulation.
• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living, including mobility and hygiene.
• Provide mealtime assistance and maintain a safe, clean dining environment.
• Monitor safety, report changes, and follow program procedures and emergency protocols.
