Job summary

Ardent Home Health and Hospice is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to manage staff-to-patient scheduling and support workflow for our home health agency. The role involves coordinating with internal and contract staff, patients, families, and referral sources while maintaining up-to-date staffing data and ensuring timely scheduling changes.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in healthcare scheduling, strong communication and organizational skills, and familiarity with scheduling software.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum experience scheduling in healthcare/medical office.
• Proficiency in HCHB is preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities; problem-solving mindset.
• Able to adapt, prioritize and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the clinical staff-to-patient scheduling process.
• Maintain positive relationships with internal staff, contract staff, patients and families.
• Respond to staff requests and coordinate scheduling changes and workflow.
• Assist Intake with staffing solutions for new referrals.
• Communicate effectively about care expectations and deadlines.
