Job summary

Ascend Hospice & Palliative Care KS is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to create and manage efficient nurse aide and home health aide schedules. You will coordinate assignments, communicate with CHHAs, RNs, and managers, and promptly address scheduling gaps for service needs.

The role requires at least 1 year of scheduling experience, strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and excellent customer service and communication skills. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year scheduling/staffing experience.
• Must be detail oriented with excellent follow-up skills.
• Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
• Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and generates efficient and accurate schedules for nurses aides & home health aides.
• Coordinates and prioritizes assignments based on need; ensuring regular and effective communication with CHHAs, RNs, managers, and other team members.
• Coordinates and works with managers, and other appropriate staff, to assign work on a daily basis; promptly alerts management of scheduling gaps for service needs.
• Ensures accurate and appropriate levels of service within scope of responsibility.
• Monitors and controls use of overtime and contract labor.
• Ensures Hospice Aides follow company procedures and promptly communicates any concerns or issues to the appropriate manager.
• Provides input into the clinical evaluations of all Hospice Aides
• Communicates scheduling-related concerns or issues involving Hospice Aides to the appropriate manager for follow-up.
• Remains flexible and adaptable regarding work schedule and assignments based on operational needs.
