Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Michigan RN license.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain CPR certification.
• Nursing experience in skilled nursing, home health, medical-surgical, critical care, or related settings preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Commitment to resident-centered care and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care that supports each resident's unique needs, goals, and preferences.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing assistants, therapists, social workers, dietary staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
• Assess resident conditions, monitor changes, implement physician orders, and advocate for interventions that promote positive outcomes and quality of life.
• Guide and support nursing assistants and other team members while fostering teamwork, professionalism, and resident-centered care.
• Contribute to care planning, admissions, discharges, and transitions while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.
