Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Aperion Care delivers direct nursing care to residents, supervises aides, and ensures high-quality care in line with federal, state, and local regulations. The RN plans daily activities, administers medications, completes required documentation, and maintains resident confidentiality.

Qualified candidates hold an RN license, CPR and First Aid certifications, and preferably long-term care experience.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred.
• Willing to take additional training as needed.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational and time-management abilities.
• Good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise aides.
• Plan daily nursing activities and coordinate with physicians.
• Administer medications and document accurately.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and safety protocols.
• Care for residents with dementia and manage changing needs.
