Job summary

Aperion Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants to ensure high-quality care in compliance with regulations. You will plan daily activities, administer medications, and maintain documentation while coordinating with physicians and staff.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, safety, and effective communication with residents and families. CPR/First Aid certification and an active RN license are required.

Qualifications

• RN license currently active/unencumbered.
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, laws and regulations pertaining to nursing care facilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents.
• Supervise nursing assistants to ensure high-quality care.
• Plan and oversee daily nursing activities and documentation.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor effects.
• Coordinate with physicians and other staff to meet residents' needs.
• Maintain safety protocols and confidentiality; communicate with residents, families and staff.
