Job summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Aperion Care provides direct nursing care to residents and supervises nursing assistants to ensure high-quality care in compliance with regulations. You will plan and oversee daily nursing activities, administer medications, complete required documentation, and maintain patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with an unencumbered state license.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and relevant regulations.
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Willing to take additional training as required.
• Ability to be flexible with multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of dementia care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants.
• Plan and oversee daily nursing activities and administer medications.
• Complete required documentation and maintain resident confidentiality.
• Coordinate with physicians and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to meet residents' needs.
