Cedar Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking per diem Registered Nurses and part-time RNs in Pompton Plains, New Jersey. The role offers compensation of $40.00 to $49.00 per hour, including shift differential, plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus for part-time positions.

Qualifications

• Must have an active RN license in the state they will practice and graduate from an accredited Registered Nurse program.
• Minimum of 6 months experience as an RN.
• A passion for caring for seniors.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience with an electronic medical record is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and their families using a consistent caregiver approach, supporting physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
• Perform all clinical duties in accordance with the state nurse practice act and nursing standards of practice.
• Promote residents' independence by establishing care goals and teaching residents/family members to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
• Monitor resident clinical and care conditions and respond to changes to ensure comfort and safety.
• Work with care associates to perform routine nursing care for assigned residents.
• Maintain infection prevention practices, administer medications, and perform treatments per orders.
• Develop and coordinate holistic care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Document accurately and timely in the EMR.
• Participate in care conferences for designated residents as requested by Clinical Manager.
