Job summary

Bethesda is seeking a registered nurse to accurately assess residents, document care plans, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care. The role involves administering medications, IV fluids, and treatments, responding to changes in condition using SBAR, and supporting families and residents.

Candidates must have RN license in state, CPR/AED, and strong critical thinking; LTC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education from an accredited nursing program resulting in RN
• Current RN license in the state of employment
• CPR/AED certification required or obtained within 6 months
• Long‑term care experience preferred
• Must possess critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' health status and plan of care on admission and ongoing basis
• Document care plans and regulatory requirements accurately
• Communicate changes in condition to IDT using SBAR
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV fluids safely
• Assist with ADLs and respond to call lights promptly
