Job summary

Cedar Wellness Center in Tacoma, WA seeks a licensed Registered Nurse to support our ambulatory clinic focused on addiction medicine and primary care. You will provide compassionate nursing care, administer medications, and collaborate with providers to coordinate patient treatment plans.

Responsibilities include triage, patient education, methadone dispensing, and in-clinic testing, with emphasis on empathy, safety, and respect for diverse communities we serve.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited RN program; bachelor’s degree in nursing highly desirable.
• Active RN License in good standing.
• Must maintain continuing education credits as required by licensure.
• 5 years clinical experience.
• One year leadership position desirable.
• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ambulatory clinical nursing care: perform patient assessments, obtain vital signs, document history, identify needs.
• Ambulatory care support: assist visits, chronic disease management, wound care, minor procedures.
• Methadone dispensing: safely dispense, maintain logs, ensure compliance with regulations.
• Carry out provider-ordered treatments, tests, and interventions; educate patients on medications and conditions.
