Job summary

Cedar Wellness Center in Tacoma, WA, seeks a Licensed Registered Nurse / Nursing Supervisor to support our ambulatory clinic. Reporting to the Clinic Medical Director, this role combines hands-on patient care with staff leadership to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to a diverse patient population.

You will oversee nursing staff, coordinate education, ensure competency, and help develop standardized workflows.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited RN program; bachelor’s degree in nursing highly desirable.
• Active RN License in good standing.
• Must maintain continuing education credits as required by licensure and organizational needs.
• 5 years clinical experience; 1 year supervisory leadership desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate direct care activities of nursing staff and allied health professionals.
• Oversee competency-based educational programming for RNs, LVNs and CMAs.
• Ensure all RN, LVN and CMAs are clinically competent and understand their roles in a patient-centered team setting.
• Assist in ongoing assessment of clinical education and team approaches to patient care; develop standardized workflows.
• Perform nursing services: telephone triage, patient education, care coordination, administer medications, assist with procedures, respond to emergencies.
