Job summary

Cedar Wellness Center in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Community Outreach Coordinator to connect with local groups and raise awareness of our opioid use disorder services. Reporting to the Clinic Director, you will represent the clinic at health fairs, workshops, and community events, building trusted referral networks and expanding access to care.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to work evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• One year of equivalent or two years related experience.
• Proof of valid Washington driver's license and auto insurance.
• Ability to travel short to moderate distances.

Responsibilities

• Develop and work with agencies and service providers to facilitate coordination and information sharing.
• Participate in health fairs, community events, and other events where the target population gathers.
• Maintain a calendar of outreach activities and appearances.
• Establish and maintain positive referral-source relationships.
• Maintain knowledge of community resources and assist patients in accessing them.
