Job summary

Inland Respite, Inc. is seeking compassionate Respite Care Providers to support families caring for children, teens and adults with Autism and related developmental disabilities.

You will offer in-home care, safety, companionship, and engaging activities, helping families take a break while ensuring the client remains engaged and safe. Preferred candidates have a valid driver’s license and CPR/First Aid certification, pass a background check, and can work day or evening shifts up to 29 hours per

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License or State-Issued ID
• Auto insurance coverage
• CPR and First Aid certification (Infants, Children, and Adults)
• Current negative TB test
• Ability to pass a background check
• Reliable transportation
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• English reading/writing communication (bilingual preferred)
• Calm and composed under pressure

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and provide companionship to someone with a disability
• Assist with daily activities (feeding, dressing, toileting) and routines
• Engage in age-appropriate activities and build positive relationships with family and clients
