Job summary

Inland Respite, Inc. is seeking compassionate individuals to provide in-home respite care for children, teens, and adults with developmental disabilities.

You will support daily activities, ensure safety, build positive relationships with families, and help clients stay engaged in meaningful routines. Qualifications

• Possession of a valid Driver's License or State-Issued ID
• Valid auto insurance coverage
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (Infants, Children, and Adults)
• Current negative TB test
• Ability to pass a background check
• Reliable transportation
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English (bilingual preferred)
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure

Responsibilities

• The essential duties: ensure safety and provide companionship to someone with a disability.
• Duties consist of daily activities (feeding, dressing, toileting assistance), daily routines, and/or homework.
• Engage and initiate age-appropriate activities for the client and build positive relationships with the family and clients.
