Job summary

Inland Respite, Inc. is seeking compassionate Respite Care Providers to support families caring for children, teens and adults on the Autism spectrum and related developmental disabilities. You will help ensure safe, engaging activities within the client’s home, while offering families meaningful breaks.

Work up to 29 hours per week with flexible scheduling, mileage reimbursement, and client selection. Requires a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, CPR/First Aid certification, TB test, and

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid Driver’s License or State-Issued ID
• Valid auto insurance coverage
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (Infants, Children, and Adults)
• Current negative TB test
• Ability to pass a background check
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English (bilingual preferred)
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and companionship to a person with a disability
• Assist with daily activities (feeding, dressing, toileting)
• Support daily routines and homework as needed
• Engage in age-appropriate activities and build positive relationships with family
