Job summary

Inland Respite, Inc. is seeking compassionate individuals to provide in-home respite care for children, teens and adults with autism and related developmental disabilities.

You will support families by keeping clients safe, engaged, and comfortable in their own home, with flexible hours and local assignments. Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license or state ID.
• Valid auto insurance coverage.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (Infants, Children, and Adults).
• Current negative TB test.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• English reading/writing and speaking; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and companionship to a person with a disability.
• Assist with daily activities (feeding, dressing, toileting).
• Support client with daily routines and homework; engage in age-appropriate activities.
• Build positive relationships with family and clients.
