Job summary

PACS is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care in accordance with each resident's care plan. The role requires accuracy in documentation, adherence to confidentiality, and timely reporting of changes in patient conditions.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum 10th grade education.
• Licensed CNA per state requirements; CPR preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents.
• Ability to write reports and procedures.
• Effective communication with managers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments or meals.
• Record entries accurately in flow sheets and charts.
• Report changes in residents' condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and report security incidents.
• Assist with daily living activities and transfers as needed.
• Ensure resident room readiness and safety; greet and orient residents.
• Observe for pressure injuries and report promptly.
• Follow policies on exposure to blood and body fluids.
