Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a Caregiver to provide routine daily care services to residents in a respectful and compassionate manner in accordance with each resident's assessment and service plan.

You will support residents with activities of daily living, assist with transfers, encourage participation in activities, and report changes to the nurse. This role emphasizes resident dignity, safety, and Platinum Service® standards.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• 6 months or more of experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, mobility.
• Assist with moving and transferring residents using safe techniques.
• Communicate incident reports and observed changes to a supervisor.
• Help residents walk with or without self-help devices.
• Encourage socialization and participation in activities and outings.
• Respond promptly to resident alerts, needs or requests for care.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nurse.
• Follow infection control practices and report unsafe situations.
• Check residents per service schedule to meet personal care needs.
• Assist with safety drills.
• Perform other essential job-related duties as assigned.
