Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a Certified Caregiver to support residents with daily living tasks and medication services in a respectful, home-like environment. You will assist with bathing, dressing, mobility, transfers, and monitoring condition, while recording care activities and reporting changes to the nurse per policy.

This role emphasizes safety, infection control, compassionate communication, and teamwork within the care team.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements.
• Six months or more of experience in home care, assisted living, or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and mobility while maintaining dignity and respect.
• Assist with moving and transferring residents using safe techniques.
• Communicate important information and changes in condition to a supervisor promptly.
• Assist residents to walk with or without devices as instructed.
• Encourage socialization and participation in activities and outings.
• Respond promptly to resident requests for care and provide needed assistance.
• Observe resident conditions and report changes to the nurse.
• Follow infection control practices and safety procedures; report unsafe conditions.
• Administer medications as directed by the health care provider and document accordingly.
• Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and effects.
• Perform other essential duties as assigned.
