Job summary

Grace Management, Inc. is seeking a Resident Care Assistant to provide physical and psychosocial care to residents, promoting dignity, choice and individuality. You will report to the shift supervisor and Wellness Director and collaborate with the wellness team to ensure comprehensive care.

The role includes assisting with daily living activities, monitoring health changes, and ensuring safety and infection control while maintaining a professional demeanor with residents and families.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Certification by state approved program, if required.
• Must lift 40 pounds and assist residents with mobility.
• Background check and drug testing completed at hire and on request.
• Experience in Assisted Living preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal and psychosocial care to residents with dignity and individuality.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, hygiene).
• Support mobility and safe transfer techniques for residents.
• Observe changes in residents’ condition and report to supervisor.
• Document services on company forms and coordinate with staff.
• Ensure infection control procedures and safety rules are followed.
