Job summary

Fountain Valley Post Acute in Fountain Valley, CA seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care for residents per their care plans. You will identify residents, assist with meals, hygiene, mobility, and daily activities while maintaining a warm, safe environment.

Responsibilities include accurate record-keeping, reporting changes to supervisors, and safeguarding residents' confidentiality. CPR certification is preferred but not required at start.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, an 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with laws of the state. CPR Preferred

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments, serving meals, etc.
• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, charts, etc., in an informative, descriptive manner.
• Report changes in resident's condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse as soon as practical.
• Assist residents with daily functions (dental and mouth care, bath functions, dressing and undressing).
• Observe and report any pressure areas or skin breakdowns to prevent ulcers.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information including protected health information.
