Job summary

Fountain Valley Post Acute is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care per care plans for assigned residents. You will identify residents before treatments, document accurately, and report changes to the Nurse Supervisor.

Ensure room readiness, assist with daily activities, and uphold resident confidentiality and safety. The role requires a CNA license ( CPR preferred), and a minimum 10th grade education.

Qualifications

• Must possess a minimum of a 10th grade education.
• ,
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services per resident assessment and care plan.
• Identify residents before administering treatments using wristband or photo card.
• Report all changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, charts in an informative, descriptive manner.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information and report violations.
• Assist residents with daily functions and mobility as trained.
• Assist with prepping residents for medical tests and examinations.
