Viva Senior Living seeks a Resident Care Associate (PCA) to deliver compassionate, resident-centered care in our Nursing department. You will follow care plans, document changes, and collaborate with the care team to maintain a safe, homelike environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, reads and speaks English well, and can participate in required trainings. This on-site role emphasizes dignity, safety, and quality of life for residents.

Qualifications

• Must possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or a GED.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must adhere to Viva Senior Living’s attendance policies and follow the terms and conditions of employment as set forth in the Employee Handbook.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents and contribute to continuity of care by reporting care provided and changes in the resident's condition to the Resident Care Director.
• Assisting residents with lifts, moves, and transports using proper body mechanics or lifting devices.
• Responds to inquiries relating to requests from residents, visitors, and other personnel promptly and courteously.
• Is knowledgeable of the individualized care plan for residents and provides support according to the care plan.
• Communicates with residents, families, peers and supervisors to promote a homelike environment.
• Maintains residents' rights and reports any abuse or mistreatment.
