Job summary

United Church Homes, Inc. seeks a dedicated resident care aide to assist residents with daily living activities and follow supervisor assignments. You will provide timely reports on changes in residents' conditions and help maintain a comfortable homelike environment.

Welcoming new residents and ensuring their adjustment, you will observe safety, document care, and collaborate with nursing staff to ensure dignity and quality of life for all residents.

Qualifications

• Requires a caring and respectful approach to residents.
• Excellent communication with residents, families, and staff.
• Ability to follow instructions and perform tasks with accuracy.
• No prior experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities.
• Answer call lights promptly and report changes in residents’ condition to supervisor.
• Document incidents and progress in medical charts as needed.
• Welcome new residents and help them adjust to the environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident units and common areas; observe safety and cleanliness standards.
• Observe safety needs and report hazards to appropriate staff.
• Assist with meals, transfers, and mobility following procedures.
