Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide to provide daily living assistance and support residents with activities, meals, and social engagement. You will work as part of a nursing team, ensuring safety, dignity, and compassionate care.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, completing a PCA program, and CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days. Flexibility is needed for weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed an approved personal care aide program per state regulations.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Must be organized and work well with all levels of personnel.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Assist residents with housekeeping, dining, and activities as directed.
• Respond promptly to calls and emergencies and report status to appropriate staff.
• Assist residents to and from dining and activities, and support move-in transitions.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow policies; communicate resident status in writing.
