Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide (PCA) to provide quality daily living support to residents in our community. You will assist with activities of daily living, housekeeping, dining transitions, and activity planning while maintaining confidentiality and safety.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of an approved PCA program, strong communication, and teamwork.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) required.
• Approved Personal Care Aide program completed per state regulations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized and able to work with all levels of personnel.
• Contributing member of nursing team and ability to follow instructions.
• Polite and considerate of residents, visitors, and co-workers at all times.
• Able to walk and stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Represent community professionally and maintain confidentiality.
• Attend all required in-services and staff meetings.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident areas as directed.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Plan and conduct activity programs for residents.
• Follow confidentiality policies regarding resident information.
• Assist residents to and from dining and activities.
• Check on residents and report illness or status to appropriate personnel.
• Communicate resident status and appointments in writing and verbally.
• Support new residents during move-in with emotional support.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
