Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health Continuing Care is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to support residents with daily living tasks, hygiene, mobility, and meal service.

The role requires communication in English, a high school diploma or GED, and an HHA/CNA certificate. Staff will assist with personal care, record weights, and follow safety protocols while promoting resident well-being.

Qualifications

• English communication required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene needs (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Assist residents with ambulation to/from activities, dining, and other locations.
• Record weights as instructed and report changes to the Wellness Nurse.
• Complete daily tasks on assignment worksheets for each resident.
• Support medication management as per policy (SAMM) and verify medications when trained.
• Deliver meals and transport residents to meals/activities.
• Perform routine bed-making and housekeeping duties.
• Respond promptly to resident requests and needs.
