Job summary

The Herrick House, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health Continuing Care, is hiring a compassionate caregiver to assist residents with daily activities and personal care. • Ability to assist residents in a professional and caring manner.
• Must communicate in English, both oral and written.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene needs (showering, dressing, daily hygiene, grooming).
• Assist residents with ambulation to activities, dining, and other locations as needed.
• Report changes in resident condition to the Wellness Nurse.
• Perform SAMM and verify medications as trained.
• Deliver meals and transport residents to meals and activities.
• Make beds and maintain clean rooms and housekeeping tasks.
• Record weights and complete daily assignment worksheets.
