Job summary

Elderwood Assisted Living is seeking a Resident Care Aide/Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our clinical team in New York. The role focuses on personal care support to residents under supervision, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care and safety.

The position requires assisting with activities of daily living, medication management, and maintaining confidentiality, while adhering to facility standards and delivering excellent resident service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to assist residents with Daily Living Activities including bathing, toileting, and transferring.
• Must read, write and understand English at an intermediate level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Daily Living Activities and personal care.
• Support with meals, medication management, grooming, and hygiene as directed.
• Observe changes in residents and notify supervisor promptly.
• Document duties performed and maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Respect facility safety standards and provide quality resident care.
