Job summary

Bethesda Health in Belleville, IL is seeking a registered nurse to accurately assess residents' health status on admission and throughout care, develop dynamic care plans, and document plans in the medical record. You will collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure timely, safe care.

You will perform nursing interventions, administer medications, monitor changes, and participate in QAPI initiatives.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state where you will be working.
• CPR/AED certification required, or willing to obtain within six months of employment.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and assist with patients weighing 200+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses residents' health status on admission and ongoing.
• Develops and revises care plans with the interdisciplinary team (IDT).
• Documents the plan of care and nursing interventions in the medical record.
• Administers medications and performs treatments/IV care as ordered.
• Responds to call lights, assists with ADLs, and participates in QAPI initiatives.
