Job summary

The Villa at Poplar Hill in Warrenton, VA is seeking a Registered Medication Aide to administer medications, maintain accurate records, and provide compassionate resident care in our assisted living facility.

Qualifications

• Certified as a Registered Medication Aide (RMA).
• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate medication administration records.
• Monitor and report adverse drug reactions.
• Assist with resident care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Conduct vital signs and other assessments as required.
• Collaborate with nurses, doctors and other healthcare professionals to develop care plans.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
