Bentley Commons is seeking a dedicated Registered Medication Aide to join our Wellness team in Virginia. You will administer medications, observe residents, and document care to support health, safety, dignity, and quality of life.

The role emphasizes medication safety and compassionate, resident-centered service. Responsibilities include verifying orders, recording administration, monitoring vital signs when trained, and assisting with daily living activities.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Registered Medication Aide registration in good standing.
• Ability to follow provider orders, pharmacy labels, and community procedures.
• Experience in assisted living or memory care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications per orders and Virginia requirements.
• Verify resident identity and medication information before administration.
• Document medications administered, withheld, omitted, or refused.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and report to the licensed nurse.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Maintain medication carts/records and ensure proper storage.
• Communicate respectfully with residents, families, and team members.
