Job summary

Accurate ABA is seeking a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician to work under the supervision of a BCBA to implement ABA programs designed to improve the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, or other special needs. The role involves collaboration with families and school staff, and requires flexible afternoon/evening hours and travel to client locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
• Current certification as an RBT or ability to become RBT within 90 days.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, or special needs preferred.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various locations for client sessions.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) designed by the BCBA to address target behaviors and skill deficits.
• Implement behavior reduction procedures and strategies to decrease challenging behaviors and promote positive behavior change.
• Collaborate effectively with other members of the interdisciplinary team, including parents, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals.
• Participate in regular supervision sessions with the BCBA to review client progress, discuss treatment strategies, and receive feedback.
