Job summary

Accurate ABA in Maryland is seeking a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support ABA programs under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement behavior plans and collaborate with families and teachers to promote positive change.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (Bachelor's preferred), an active RBT credential or plan to obtain it within 90 days, and reliable transportation to attend client sessions across locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
• Current certification as an RBT or ability to become RBT within 90 days.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client locations.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) designed by the BCBA to address target behaviors and skill deficits.
• Implement behavior reduction procedures and strategies to decrease challenging behaviors and promote positive behavior change.
• Collaborate effectively with other members of the interdisciplinary team, including parents, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals.
• Participate in regular supervision sessions with the BCBA to review client progress, discuss treatment strategies, and receive feedback.
