Job summary

Golden Touch ABA in Maryland seeks a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to implement ABA therapy under BCBA supervision, working with children and adolescents in homes, schools, and community settings.

You will collect data, document progress, and collaborate with families and BCBAs to support skill acquisition and positive behavior change. A high school diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred; experience with autism is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a high school diploma; a bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience working with children or individuals with special needs; previous experience in ABA is a plus.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Implement client-specific behavioral intervention plans as designed by a BCBA.
• Use positive reinforcement strategies to encourage and reinforce desired behaviors.
• Collect and record data on client progress during therapy sessions and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, families, and other team members to ensure consistency and continuity of care.
• Provide services in home, school, and community settings as needed.
