Job summary

Channel ABA in Westminster, Maryland is hiring for a Registered Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism and developmental disabilities.

You will implement individualized behavior plans developed by a BCBA, collect data, and teach communication and life skills. Requires RBT, high school diploma, and ability to travel between client locations. Flexible full-time or part-time schedules available.

Qualifications

• RBT certification required and BACB credential active.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year experience with children with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel up to 45 minutes between client locations.
• Able to pass federal and state background checks.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism and developmental disabilities.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention and treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
• Collect accurate behavioral data using electronic data collection systems.
• Teach communication, social, adaptive living, and functional life skills.
• Use positive reinforcement and evidence-based ABA teaching strategies.
• Communicate regularly with supervising BCBAs and caregivers.
• Maintain professional documentation and session notes.
• Follow BACB ethical guidelines and company policies.
• Attend required supervision, team meetings, and training sessions.
