Job summary

Majestic Care of Goshen is seeking a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) to join our community nursing team. The QMA will set up, administer, and record prescribed medications for residents under supervision of a licensed nurse, following state and federal guidelines.

The successful candidate will hold active QMA and CNA certifications in Indiana, demonstrate compassion, accuracy, and teamwork, and contribute to a caring environment focused on safety and quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Must be certified as a Qualified Medication Aide in the state employed; active and in good standing.
• Must be certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state employed; active and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer prescribed medications (oral, topical, PRN) to residents and document accurately.
• Check physician orders against medication forms and maintain proper drug storage and cart security.
• Monitor and record vital signs, chart resident conditions, and report needs to charge nurse.
• Order medications from pharmacy per physician order and ensure clean working environment.
• Respond to calls and alarms promptly and professionally; assist with resident tubing and bag care.
