Job summary

OPS Living is seeking a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) to administer medications and provide direct resident care. You will follow physician orders, Indiana regulations, and company policies while building trust with residents and collaborating with the nursing team.

Ideal candidates are detail oriented, compassionate, and team players who communicate well with residents, families, and staff. Current Indiana QMA certification is required, with CNA, CPR, and basic computer skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Indiana QMA certification in good standing.
• CNA certification may be required by state regulations.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Strong understanding of medication administration practices.
• Excellent communication and observation skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to physician orders and company policies.
• Follow the Five Rights of Medication Administration and Indiana regulations.
• Observe residents for medication effectiveness, side effects, and adverse reactions.
• Report medication concerns or resident condition changes to the licensed nurse.
